Dog boarding

Council Licence Number-GCC/AW019

Dog boarding is one of our most popular services. Here's everything you need to know about how it works.

Who can board with us

We take up to 4 visitors at a time, as well as our resident cocker spaniel Wilson.

For everyone's safety and happiness, there are minimum requirements for your dog to stay with us. It must be:

  • Non- aggressive towards people or other dogs.

  • Housetrained — we're ready for occasional accidents, but your dog should be used to toileting before bed, and regularly during the day.

  • Fully vaccinated (including up to date booster), and recently treated for parasites (worms and fleas). We will need proof of this before the initial trial visit

Walks during a stay

Home boarders and those booked for a whole day’s doggy day care will have at least 2 walks. Half day doggy day care includes one walk.

What to send with your dog

We ask you to provide the following things, to help make your dog's stay as comfortable as possible:

  • Their bed or blanket.

  • Their food (we provide treats, but you're welcome to include any of their favourites)

  • Their lead and harness, if they wear one.

  •  Toys (but only ones that can be replaced, as we can't guarantee their survival!)

We'll provide treats, toys and all the love they need.

How to book

Get in touch to arrange an initial visit.

If everyone is happy and the booking is for 3 nights or more, we will need to complete a free trial night. This is also offered for shorter bookings, but the normal boarding rate applies.

Assuming any trial nights are successful, the booking can then be confirmed.

Bookings should be made as far in advance as possible, especially for peak periods. A 50% deposit is payable when the booking is confirmed.
